Pigs purchased from Black Sage Butcher Ltd. are ethically-raised free-range in the Fraser Vallley and are without growth hormones or antiobiotics. The customer is responsible for the cost of the actual carcass weight prior to butchering, so please bear in mind there will be some loss due to removal of bones and fat.

Ordering Information

  1. Complete and submit your order online. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to proceed. We will contact you within 2 business days to confirm the order. Alternatively you may visit us in the shop during open hours to complete an order form and pay the $50 deposit.
  2. Once your carcass has been delivered, we will contact you with the cost to coordinate a 50% payment before we begin butchering. Upon receipt of payment we will coordinate a pick up date and time with you. Orders are fulfilled Wednesday through Saturday.
  3. The remaining balance, including any incidentals and less the initial $50 deposit, is to be paid when the completed order is picked up.

Payment Information

You may pay the $50 deposit online here or in-person at our shop during open hours. Sorry, we do not accept credit card numbers over the phone under any circumstances.

Carcass payments valued over $200 will incur a 3% service fee if paid by credit or debit card. Alternatively you may pay by e-transfer or cash to avoid this fee.

Delivery

The time needed to complete an order is subject to how many other orders we have at the time, as we have limited cutting capacity. We will discuss this at the time that your order is confirmed. These orders are best for people who are able to plan ahead and be flexible with timing.
