Butcher Shop Clerk - Job Posting
Black Sage Butcher is hiring – now’s your chance to join our award-winning team!
Position: Butcher Shop Clerk (Part-time, Seasonal)
Schedule: 2-4 shifts a week for 5-8 hr shifts. Guaranteed shifts every Thursday and Saturday. If you are a student we can be flexible with your schedule until school ends in June.
Hourly Wage: $18.00 plus tips and an end-of-season bonus.
Staff Perk: enjoy a 15% staff discount on our food retail and meat products.
Term: Join us from early May to Oct 12, 2024, with potential for extension.
The main job duties and requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver outstanding customer service; assist with product selection, checkout, and more.
- Support our butchers with food production and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Promote a collaborative and efficient workplace.
- Accept direction and respond well to constructive feedback.
- Ability to multitask is highly valued.
- You must be able to stand for the entirety of your shift and lift 50 lbs.
